VACANCY – ASSISTANT MANAGER – FINANCE

Qualifications

• Full or Part Qualification in ICASL
• CIMA qualification will be an added advantage
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university in Sri Lanka

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
• At least 3 years of audit experience

Skills & Competencies

• Strong accounting knowledge
• Budgeting expertise
• Analytical skills
• Costing knowledge
• ERP system experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with budget variance analysis.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor monthly performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and ensure adequate funds for smooth operations.
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the ERP Accounting module.
• Oversee financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Payroll.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders to facilitate timely reporting and efficient financial processes.
