Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Colombo, with opportunities for partial remote work. As a Team Manager/Team Leader & Advisor in the Life Insurance division, the role involves overseeing and managing a team of advisors, setting performance goals, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. Responsibilities also include mentoring and training team members, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, and driving business growth by promoting insurance products and solutions tailored to client needs. Collaboration within the team and with other departments will be a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications
• Knowledge in Finance and Insurance concepts
• Proven expertise in Team Management, including supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluation
• Experience in Sales and the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Strong Customer Service skills and a customer-focused approach to drive satisfaction and retention
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities effectively
• Previous experience in the life insurance industry or relevant certifications is an advantage
