Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy for a leading FMCG company based in Colombo. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to shape corporate strategy, drive performance, and evaluate growth opportunities across markets, categories, and channels. The successful candidate will bring strong strategic thinking, financial rigor, and hands-on experience delivering complex, high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of the company’s corporate and business unit strategies.
• Drive annual and long-range strategic planning, including market assessment, competitive analysis, and portfolio optimization.
• Build robust financial models, business cases, and investment appraisals to support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with finance and business leaders to track strategic performance, KPIs, and value realization.
• Evaluate and support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other inorganic growth opportunities.
• Lead major strategic initiatives and transformation projects from concept through execution.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board.

ualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in corporate strategy, business planning, management consulting, or corporate development.
• Strong preference for experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and performance management.
• Proven exposure to M&A, strategic partnerships, or major enterprise-wide projects (highly advantageous).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a dynamic, results-driven organization.
