Job Summary: The General Manager (GM) will assume a pivotal leadership role maintaining the financial success and reputation of this top-tier hotel within the Conglomerate Group. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned leader with a passion for achieving outstanding results, reporting directly to the Board of Directors
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead the executive team and staff, fostering a positive working environment and a commitment to excellence.
• Set clear performance expectations and provide guidance to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Financial Management and P&L Responsibility:
• Develop, manage, and optimize the annual budget with a focus on revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
• Implement strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and other financial KPIs.
Sales and Revenue Management:
• Craft and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to attract and retain diverse guest segments.
• Utilize effective revenue management techniques to enhance pricing, distribution, and market share.
Operational Excellence:
• Ensure seamless day-to-day operations across all hotel departments while maintaining the highest service standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational efficiency to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
Guest Experience and Service Quality:
• Uphold and elevate guest satisfaction levels by addressing feedback, implementing improvements, and ensuring consistent service standards.
• Implement quality assurance measures for a superior guest experience.
Community and Stakeholder Relations:
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, the community, and key stakeholders.
• Represent the hotel and the Conglomerate Group in relevant industry events and forums.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure the property complies with all local regulations and maintains high standards of safety and security.
• Mitigate risks and uphold safety protocols.
Reporting and Communication:
• Regularly report financial and operational performance to the Board of Directors.
• Provide strategic insights, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
• BSc in Marketing / Business Management / Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a General Manager in a luxury hotel or similar upscale hospitality setting.
• Background as a Director of Sales, Revenue, or Commercial Director is highly desirable.
• Strong financial acumen, budget management skills, and experience with P&L responsibility.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
