📝 Job Description

The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the campus IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, firewalls, and data backup systems. The role requires hands-on technical expertise to ensure smooth, secure, and uninterrupted IT operations at the Jaffna branch.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain network switches and server infrastructure
• Administer Windows Server platforms and related services
• Configure and manage firewalls and network security systems
• Monitor and maintain data backup and recovery solutions
• Troubleshoot network, server, and system-related issues
• Ensure system availability, performance, and security
• Provide technical support and guidance to campus staff when required

🎓 Educational Qualifications
• Higher Diploma in Computer Networks / Network Engineering
• Professional certifications such as MCSA / MCSE or CCNA will be a strong advantage

💼 Experience Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as an IT Technician or Assistant Systems Administrator
• Hands-on experience managing:
• Network switches
• Windows Servers
• Firewalls
• Data backup applications

🧠 Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows Server environments
• Understanding of network security and firewall management
• Ability to handle system backups and recovery procedures
