Trainee Finance Officer

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Trainee Finance Officer on a 1 year contract, who can support our global financial operations. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across key financial operations while working alongside a dynamic, global team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance, develop practical skills, and contribute to exciting projects in collaboration with industry leaders.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will function across several critical financial domains. Primary duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Sales Ledger Management
• Process and produce invoices as per contracted terms and follow up with sales if needed.
• Identify and solve any problems and issues pertaining to invoicing.

Purchase Ledger Operations
• Process purchase orders, vouchers, and business expenses with technical precision, while maintaining rigorous internal controls and documentation standards.
• Track and reconcile company credit card transactions.

Taxation, Regulatory, and Statutory Reporting
• Assist with internal and external audits, including corporate tax and statutory return completions.

Qualifications and Skills
• Part qualification from a recognized professional body (e.g., ACCA, ICASL, CIMA).
• Level 1 in a relevant professional qualification. Second-year part-time undergraduates who are working full-time are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
