Senior Executive – Legal

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Senior Executive - Legal for a leading FMCG company based in Colombo. The ideal candidate will support the business by providing sound legal advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling commercial, litigation, and notarial matters relevant to the FMCG and manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating all types of commercial contracts and related legal documentation
• Initiating and supporting business units to ensure operations are in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Coordinating and assisting in litigation-related matters, including liaising with external counsel as required
• Handling conveyancing and notarial work, including title searches, drafting, and attesting of title deeds and related documents
• Providing legal support on matters relating to manufacturing, finance, and commercial operations

Qualifications & Experience
• Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public with a valid license to practice in Colombo
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized institution
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of post-qualifying experience
• Broad understanding of the financial and legal dynamics of the manufacturing/FMCG sector
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively supporting cross-functional teams
