Systems Administrator – ERP & Linux

We are looking for a Systems Administrator with strong Linux expertise to support and enhance our ERP and enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security of critical systems.

Requirements

• Degree in IT / Computer Science or related field

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in system administration

• Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS) – key requirement

• Good knowledge of DB2 architecture (LUW vs z/OS)

• Working knowledge of nginx, Redis, PostgreSQL, MSSQL

• Experience in backup, recovery, and DR

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux and Windows servers

• Manage VMware ESXi infrastructure

• Ensure high availability and performance of ERP systems

• System & DB performance tuning

• Automation using Shell / Python

• Access control, security enforcement, and compliance

• Backups, restore testing, and DR planning

• System monitoring, documentation, and Level 2 support

Salary: LKR 150,000 – 200,000 (based on experience)
