Management Accountant

Wijeya Newspapers Ltd, a leading print media publisher in Sri Lanka with over 13 popular publications, is seeking a Management Accountant. The company has expanded into diverse sectors including a state-of-the-art factory in Hokandara, a cable channel TV, REACH Transport Service, and digital media. Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation and analysis of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitoring cost controls and key financial performance indicators
• Supporting strategic and operational decision-making through accurate financial analysis
• Assisting in cash flow management and cost reduction initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
• Coordinating effectively with internal departments and external auditors as required

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
• Partly or fully qualified in CIMA / ACCA / CA Sri Lanka or an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in management accounting or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting / ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
