Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an International Student Counselor based in Colombo. The International Student Counselor will assist students in exploring study abroad opportunities, provide career counseling, manage educational inquiries, and guide students through the admission and visa processes. Fostering positive relationships with students and stakeholders, the counselor will also provide advice and support tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to effectively guide students in their study abroad journey
• Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students and stakeholders
• Commitment to delivering excellent Customer Service, ensuring a supportive and professional experience for students
• Knowledge of the Education sector, including study options, admission requirements, and visa processes
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks efficiently under deadlines
• Familiarity with global higher education trends and institutions is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred
