Job Description

As a Junior Associate at Ascent, you will play a pivotal role in Logistic Operations. Your contributions will directly impact our success as we strive to exceed expectations and set new benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with internal teams, client merchants, finishing team, client Logistics team, end customers, and nominate forwarders to ensure seamless operations

• Please take proactive measures to meet the end customer's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and follow the client's Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Drive the implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) upgrades, ensuring effective follow-up and knowledge sharing among sub-teams

• Update buyer requirements and compliance standards as necessary and prepare and maintain an issue log to track and address challenges as soon as possible.

• Liaise with Ascent Logistics, Client Logistics team, Client Merchant team, and factory team to ensure smooth execution of assigned tasks

• Maintain and update shipment booking tracker to ensure all the bookings are placed and share booking approvals with the plant team for shipment delivery.

• Share with relevant teams of document preparation, payment/LR and scanning on time to liaise with internal contacts, suppliers, logistics providers, transport companies and customers.

• Make necessary arrangements to prepare FCR/ check FCR and maintain the accuracy of FCR on time without penalty.

• Prepare pre-shipment entry and submit to the ASYCUDA system on time, ensuring authorized entries are sent to the operations team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year business experience with a focus on logistic operations.
• Experience in BPO industry, apparel or manufacturing sector would be an added advantage.
• Should have minimum qualification of pass in GCE(O/L) 6 subjects with passes in Mathematics and English
• G.C.E. Advanced Level – Minimum of 3 passes.
