Manager, Restaurant & Bar - Kandy Myst by Cinnamon
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join Kandy Myst by Cinnamon. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
The Restaurant & Bar Manager will manage restaurant and bar operations according to the Cinnamon standards to ensure excellent Food and Beverage Services are provided to the guests while adhering to budgets, training staff, and handling guests' complaints. In addition, you will assist the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in achieving maximum F&B profitability and managing the restaurant's physical appearance, maintenance, and ambiance.
Responsibilities
- This role involves working with the Assistant F&B manager to establish and maintain effective internal controls within the department.
- Reviewing reservations and upcoming events to plan appropriate staffing levels and schedule work rosters.
- Building and maintaining good customer relations to safeguard the hotel’s reputation.
- Demonstrating a strong knowledge of Food and Beverage trends within the hospitality industry.
Qualifications & Skills
- Work-related experience in a similar role in a five-star resort.
- Passion for consistently driving guest satisfaction.
- Good team player.
- Aware of the latest food and beverage trends and practices.
- Experience in managing restaurant and bar operations.
- Ability to handle guests' complaints effectively.
