Job Description

As an Insurance Administrative Support, you will manage client records, policy documentation, and renewals while assisting with claims processing and customer queries. This role demands precision, organization, and proactive problem-solving to ensure exceptional service delivery.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • At least 2 years of relevant administrative or operational experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • Background in Business Insurance-such as General Liability, Property Insurance, Professional Indemnity/Errors & Omissions, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Cyber Insurance, Business Interruption, or Employer's Liability (highly preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using CRM systems; Zoho experience is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative support role
  • Prior experience within the insurance industry (highly desirable)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment

Your Daily Tasks

  • Provide administrative support to insurance brokers and the wider team
  • Manage client records and policy documentation in the CRM
  • Prepare and send renewal notices and policy schedules
  • Liaise with insurers for policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of currency
  • Assist with claims lodgement and tracking
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Respond to client queries via email and phone
  • Maintain and update internal registers and compliance records
  • Support billing and accounts processing as required
