Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Mechanical Engineer role based in Colombo. As a member of the team, you will contribute to various engineering projects, encompassing mechanical design, drafting, and development activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing designs using CAD tools, performing calculations, conducting research for innovative solutions, participating in the development and optimization of mechanical systems, and collaborating with team members to ensure project goals are met effectively. You will also assist in project management and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts and principles
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
• Experience or knowledge in Research and Development (R&D) methodologies
• Skill in Project Management and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within teams
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable engineering solutions is a plus
